BioI have been an development worker in Africa, an Oxfam campaigner, an activist representing Africa at UN meetings, a South African trade unionist, a multilateral trade negotiator, a developmental economist working on the role of business in development, and a consultant working on sustainability and CSR with leading multinationals. I have set up my own businesses and NGO's, played a leading role in setting up Proudly South African, and co-founded Business Action for Africa. I am a South African living and working in the US - and came here via the UK. It's been a ride.
This journal is about my views and opinions on everything and anything - on the news, sustainability, CSR, activists and their campaigns, and anything else that might come along. Let's see where this takes us.
